Use AI feedback to choose a concrete revision, then answer a different question. The goal is a change you can repeat, not a score you can memorize.
What does the AI evaluate?
Writing
Feedback considers content and coherence, vocabulary, readability and task fulfilment. Use it to check whether your reasons are developed, your paragraphs connect and your tone suits the reader.

Feedback considers content and coherence, vocabulary, listenability and task fulfilment. A fluent answer can still miss the task; a detailed answer can still be difficult to follow.
Explore this resource →An example: turn a correction into practice
Illustrative feedback, not an actual learner report: “Everyone need a quiet place for study” becomes “Everyone needs a quiet place to study.” The correction identifies subject–verb agreement and a natural way to express purpose.
Do more than copy the improved sentence. Write or say a new sentence about a different subject, such as “Everyone needs clear instructions to finish the task.” Then use the pattern in a fresh response without looking at the correction.
Pronunciation feedback is a separate tool
Where available, Azure pronunciation assessment adds word and sound detail. It can help you notice an unclear sound or an awkward pause. It does not establish whether your ideas answer the question, and its scores are not CELPIP levels.
For an unscripted answer, check the transcript against your recording before treating every flagged word as your mistake. For a pronunciation drill, focus on a short phrase and listen to the recording again after the next take.
Free practice and AI rating allowances
Public examples need no account. Listening and Reading practice is free with an account, and free accounts can start 1 full mock per day. A full mock contains 10 writing and speaking responses; rating every response uses the corresponding AI allowance.
Each AI rating of a speaking or writing answer uses 1 voucher. You get 5 free vouchers when you confirm your email and 1 more each day you visit (you can hold up to 5). Listening and reading are always free.
Read the balance and cost shown before submitting. Starting a free mock does not mean every AI rating in that mock is free. The pricing page explains the current plans.
A three-session AI practice loop
- Session 1: answer independently under a timer. Read the feedback after finishing, not while composing the response.
- Session 2: choose one issue and revise only the relevant sentences. Explain to yourself what changed and why.
- Session 3: answer a different prompt. Check whether the same issue returns; keep the next practice target small.
What an AI estimate cannot promise
A practice estimate is not an official result or a guarantee of your test-day score. One task is a small sample of your ability. Look for patterns across several independent responses, and use complete timed rehearsals to check pacing and stamina.
Questions, answered
Is there a free AI CELPIP practice test?
Celmock has free public examples and account-based free practice. AI ratings use the available allowance or vouchers shown in your account; they are not unlimited free evaluations.
Does a pronunciation score equal my CELPIP Speaking level?
No. Pronunciation is only part of a spoken response. Task fulfilment, content and language also matter.
